Costessey stretches from the older village core near the Tud valley out to the large New Costessey estate, and we carry out roof replacements across the whole area.
New Costessey is dominated by 1970s and 1980s estate houses, many of which were built with thin concrete interlocking tiles that are now well past their best. When those roofs start leaking around the verges or losing grip on the battens underneath, the cost of repeated call-outs quickly outweighs the price of starting fresh. Old Costessey has a smaller number of older brick-and-tile properties with steeper pitches that need a different approach.
We strip the existing covering completely, check every batten and rafter, and relay with materials specified to the pitch and exposure of your particular roof. Costessey sits in a fairly open position and roofs here take a fair amount of wind, so correct fixing is especially important.
